Registration

Register Online or mail in the Registration Form.

Lots are 10'x10'. One lot per family is standard, or you can purchase more lots for more space.

Registration Deadline? No Deadline!

The Event is at Scottsdale Stadium: 7408 E. Osborn Rd. Scottsdale. Enter through rear gate. Parking in rear of Stadium. There will be directional signs.

​

Saturday, October 15th 6PM - Sunday, October 16th 8AM. If you are hosting a booth or building a house, please plan to arrive early at 5PM to check in and set up!

What Should I Bring With Me to Cardboard City?

Yourself! If you are attending for the fair, bring yourself, friends, family, and a great attitude!

If you are hosting a booth or building a house, check out our Critera below. We want you to be creative, but there are a couple of rules.

What You Should NOT Bring With You

If you are spending the night, DON'T bring a change of clothes. We suggest that you layer your clothes with a jacket in case it gets cool in the evening. There won't be any changing rooms available, so wear something comfortable but modest and appropriate for the event.

NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM. Neither the stadium nor Family Promise will be responsible for anything that is lost or stolen.

Will There be Food?

Tons! There will be a variety of food available from food trucks for purchase. There's no open food allowed on the stadium field though, so eating will be confined to the patio. Packaged snacks are allowed wherever, and if you're spending the night, breakfast will be provided free the next morning

What Will We Do There?

After setting up your booth or house, you're free to roam around! Take shifts at your booth and enjoy the other games and activities other groups have to offer! Enter in the raffle, buy prizes with your tickets, grab some food, and dance in front of the stage while a DJ spins tunes! There will be some scheduled activities, including sponge dodgeball, hygiene kits, and a program about Family Promise. At 10PM it's time to pack up and go home, and then the sleepover starts!

What is the Personal Fundraising Part of This?

We ask that those participating get sponsors for their night in a cardboard box. Suggested sponsorship goal is $100 for individuals, $500 for groups. All proceeds go to Family Promise-Greater Phoenix to help homeless families in our community.

Once you send in your registration, you will get a weblink to build your fundrasing page. You will also get a Cardboard City Toolbox Email with important info and links for the Fundraising Pages and Release Forms. 

​

We will have awards and recognition for top fundraisers! Earlybirds raising $100 will be entered in a raffle to win three great prizes at the Kick Off Party. Top three fundraisiers and Top Team Fundraisier will win original, commemorative trophies.

​

Fun Prizes are available for the most creative cardboard boxes!

​

If you are bringing and running a booth, we also ask that you raise $100 in sponsorships. There will also be prizes for the most popular booth or game! 

What Happens the Next Morning?

You will need to clean up your cardboard box lot. Dumpsters will be onsite and all cardboard will be recycled.

​

Coffee and donuts will be provided!

Can I Volunteer at the Event?

Yes, we welcome volunteers! Please contact us and we will find a job for you.
